The cubicle farm, once seen as the pinnacle of office efficiency, is now being replaced by co-working or flex working spaces. These flex spaces are defined by their ability to cater to a wide array of disciplines by “flexing” to their needs. To best do this, a majority of these spaces have adopted open, flexible floor plans that minimize personal clutter and maximize functionality.
People no longer follow schedules driven by time clocks and desk assignments, instead they are given the freedom to flex by suiting their needs at that moment. People are free to take complete ownership over the way they work, setting their own schedules and selecting their own seat, but at the cost of owning a piece of their workspace.
Co-Zone aims to create a happy medium between the flex of this modern workplace and the personalization present in the cubicles of yesteryear by offering a functional and fun way to customize and interact with their workspace.
