In the following decades, we may see the first permanent settlements on Mars, laying the foundation for a future where humanity prospers among the stars.

Hydroponic farms aims to prepare children for the challenges of tomorrow, through an immersive, interactive, exciting and gamified experience. Kids will work together as a team strategizing and solving problems to maintain a thriving colony and ensure the happiness of its population.

Each round of the game will challenge their ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and cooperate to achieve success. Teaching essential skills for life in a space-based community. But the game isn’t without its twists! Kids will also face unexpected challenges, like power outages, water tank leaks, and resource shortages, all of which require quick thinking and creative solutions.

Our initial design featured a circular game where kids would create their own pizzas, but this concept didn’t fully align with our vision. We decided to pivot entirely, shifting our focus to a Space-themed experience centered around hydroponic farming.

We created physical prototypes and tested them with our coaches, refining the mechanics and ensure the game provided both fun and valuable learning opportunities.

Countless hours were dedicated to painting, designing, and fine-tuning the mechanics to achieve the perfect balance of aesthetics and gameplay. Every detail mattered, and we strived to create an immersive and educational experience.
