Membrain

The Membrain is a kinetic ceiling at the entrance of a co-working office. It helps people to find their way inside and instils connectedness to the place and to the other people. Nowadays a lot of data is collected about the state our buildings and the activities of people and things in them. The Membrain installation visualises some these datasets to allow for at-a-glance interpretation. Thereby making it possible for people to assess eg. the current state of activity in the office, the condition of the community forest or the climate on the office floor.
